Alfa Development and Engineering AS was established in February 1989 to provide project services for the Norwegian oil and gas industry within the North Sea and assist Norwegian companies in the Middle Eastern petroleum market.

Alfa’s main focus is presently the Middle Eastern Petroleum Industry and the North Sea.

In 1998 Norway Iran Business Centre (NIBC) AS was established and Farshad Tehrani as a shareholder of Alfa was requested to join as a main partner and responsible for Oil and Gas Operations. NIBC managed to obtain a number of impressive clients for the Iranian markets.

In January 2003, Farshad Tehrani left his NIBC’s position as Oil and Gas Operations responsible partner and focus on the Middle Eastern Petroleum industry through Alfa Development and Engineering AS.

Alfa Development and Engineering AS is a Norwegian consulting company specializing in business development, project execution and cultural challenges for international companies considering or doing business in Middle East.
